Collingwood midcourter Molly Jovic will sit out the side’s round six match against the NSW Swifts today due to a head injury.
Jovic was hurt in Collingwood’s round five match against the Adelaide Thunderbirds at the University of Sunshine Coast stadium.
Further assessment on Thursday revealed Jovic had experienced a minor concussion.
Kaitlyn Black will replace Jovic in Collingwood’s squad of 12.
Jovic’s selection prospects for Collingwood’s round seven encounter with West Coast Fever on Tuesday will be determined following Monday’s training.
“We will monitor Molly’s improvement over the weekend and look to assess and make a call on her playing the match against Fever on Monday,” Collingwood netball physical performance manager, Chris Howley, said.
