Collingwood mid-courter Molly Jovic will be sidelined for the side's Round 2 Suncorp Super Netball match against the Giants on Saturday afternoon.
Jovic will miss Saturday afternoon's clash after sustaining an injury to her right foot in the side’s Round 1 match against the Sunshine Coast Lightning.
Jovic is expected to make a recovery for the Magpies’ Round 3 home game against the Thunderbirds, but will undergo testing throughout the week.
Training partner Maggie Lind will step up in the mid-court in the absence of Jovic, rewarded for her impressive pre-season form and leadership shown throughout her time at the Magpies.
Lind returned to the Holden Centre this season having been a part of the club’s 2019 Super Club championship side.
The 27-year-old has played a key role for the City West Falcons in the Victorian Netball League, where she has established herself as a competitive wing-attack known for her strength from the circle's edge.
The Magpies take on the Giants this Saturday at 3pm at Ken Rosewall Arena.
