The 2021 season will see each team host seven home games.

The Magpies will play four of their home matches at John Cain Arena and two at the Silverdome in Launceston.

The season will commence on May 1, consisting of a 14-week home and away season and a three-week finals series, culminating in a Grand Final on Sunday 29 August.

Collingwood will kick off their 2021 season campaign at home at John Cain Arena against the Sunshine Coast Lightning on Saturday night. The match will form part two of a Round 1 double-header, preceded by a grand final rematch between the Melbourne Vixens and West Coast Fever.

The Pies will then head to New South Wales for their first away trip to face the Giants at the new and improved Ken Rosewall Arena.

Two home matches, one in Melbourne and one in Launceston, will follow in Round 3 and 4 with the Magpies taking on the Thunderbirds and Firebirds respectively.

Collingwood will then make a return to Ken Rosewall Arena for a hit-out with the Swifts, commencing a tough three-week period in which they’ll also face the West Coast Fever and Melbourne Vixens.

The Magpies will need to wait until Round 7 for the first Melbourne derby against the reigning premiers, in a Queen’s Birthday clash.

Round 8 will be played over two weekends to allow for a bye, with the second half of the season consisting of a repeat match-up against each side.

Themed rounds for the 2021 season, such as Indigenous Round, will be announced as the season approaches.

The season will again be broadcast live on Nine – with eight of the Magpies’ matches set to feature, while the remainder will be available on Telstra TV and the Netball Live Official App.
